PMI Takes on the AI Challenge in International Edition (English)
The Project Management Institute (PMI) says it is determined to tackle the challenges posed to the profession by Artificial Intelligence (AI).
As artificial intelligence (AI) advances alongside new methodologies and worldwide cooperation redefine the field, PMI emphasized that understanding project management fundamentals early could aid in addressing AI-related difficulties.
'By fostering an early appreciation for project management principles, we reinforce our commitment to developing Africa's talent pipeline and ensuring the profession continues to drive the continent's growth,' said George Asamani, Managing Director of PMI Sub-Saharan Africa, in a statement on Thursday.
Asamani, who said the PMI® Global Summit Series Africa 2025 would take place from August 19 to 21, 2025 at the Kigali Convention Centre in Rwanda, added that AI and other evolving modern technologies would be discussed.
He said attendees would have the opportunity to participate in interactive workshops and masterclasses, equipping them with practical skills to navigate the complexities of modern-day projects.
