I Tested Scrubbing Bubbles' Easy Clean to See If It Really Makes Bathroom Cleanup Easier
Let me get this out of the way: I didn't grow up in a Scrubbing Bubbles house. Frankly, I can't even remember what my parents' bathroom cleaner of choice was, but I do not have the same nostalgic Scrubbing Bubbles memories that my husband holds. Truly, whenever he sees a bottle of the stuff he'll say, "That reminds me of my grandparents house." And it's everything down to the smell of the cleaner. It brings back great memories for him.
So when I set out to test the new Easy Clean Scrubbing Bubbles products, I didn't have a lot to compare it to other than other cleaners I've used and his steadfast belief in the brand.
I should also preface this by saying I have a family of five, two of whom are teenagers. So there's a lot going on around here in terms of bathroom usage (sorry, guys). The three products I tested are the Scrubbing Bubbles Easy Clean Foaming Toilet Cleaner, Easy Clean Multi-Purpose Foam Aerosol and Easy Clean Multi-Purpose Foam Trigger.
Now you might be wondering, what's the difference between a multi-purpose foam aerosol and a multi-purpose foam trigger, as I did. Apparently, after doing some research, some people prefer aerosol because they think it offers a finer, more consistent spray. Fans of the trigger spray version say it gives them more control over the direction of the product and the amount used. This is helpful for spot cleaning.

I'm going to be super honest with you, after using both the Easy Clean Scrubbing Bubbles Aerosol and the Easy Clean Trigger , I couldn't tell a bit of difference in their cleaning power. Or differences in their coverage areas. In my opinion, both cleaning exactly the same way.

So let's get to the efficacy. I loved Easy Clean Scrubbing Bubbles in particular for clearing away toothpaste scum from our sinks . It took zero effort to remove even some of the caked on bits that had been, sadly, sitting there for a few days. It also worked great on our tub, leaving it shiny and clean.
As far as removing limescale (those annoying chalky bits that show up on faucets and showerheads), this product helps but I couldn't get it to remove them completely. Seriously, hard water stains mock me, no matter what product or cleaning hack I try.
Now let's talk about the Scrubbing Bubbles Easy Clean Foaming Toilet Cleaner, wow—does that stuff foam up. It's super easy to use, you literally just open the packet and pour it in the bowl to allow the magic to happen. I will say, our toilets have never smelled fresher. And they were noticeably cleaner without any scrubbing. However, if there's any stuck-on, well, you know, you are going to have to go in there with a toilet brush to loosen it. You can only expect a foaming toilet cleaner can only do so much.
